Growing up I was always told if I pursed art I would inevitably become nothing more than a Starving Artist. For a while I believed that was true, I threw myself hard into the workforce, working three jobs, becoming more and more unhappy. Then I was diagnosed with multiple Autoimmune diseases, for years I tried as hard as I could to pursue a dream that wasn’t mine, all for what? Until inevitably, through the health scares, I picked up a paintbrush; and I haven’t put it down since. By purchasing homemade works of art not only are you getting a lovely piece of home decor you are also fueling someone’s passion.
